Sunset Ridge Resort was founded in the 1940’s when Chet & Phyllis Furry transformed a run down logging camp into a beautiful, thriving family retreat. Their vision of children splashing in the lake while parents and friends enjoy the picturesque tranquility that is unique to the northwoods of Wisconsin had come true. Since then countless families have made it a regular vacation destination, becoming a family tradition passed on through generations.  Sitting around the campfires you can hear stories of the joy that has been shared over the years, and of the many friendships that have formed simply by spending a week or two with each other every summer.
